Historic gateway hotel near Yosemite's west entrance on Highway 49
Location & Gateway
The hotel sits at the junction of California's Highway 49 (the Golden Chain) and State Route 140, the all-year access road to Yosemite Valley's west entrance. Mariposa's historic downtown is within walking distance, featuring the Mariposa County Courthouse and California State Mining and Mineral Museum. The location provides direct access to Yosemite National Park, which is open all year.
Amenities & Recreation
The hotel offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub for relaxation after hiking. Free high-speed wireless Internet access and a free weekday newspaper are provided. A business center with copy and fax services is available for work needs.
